Cards, Browns, Steelers could be winnable. Do we know Big Ben is coming back for sure?
Yeah, they're toss ups at this point, but I went with which team has more upside. Steelers are just better coached and a much better franchise consistently.

I'm also kinda assuming Nick Foles will be the starter week 1 so 6 wins might even be a little generous lol.

Haha, then what do you call Matt Nagy's year in 2018? How about the Bears 2020?

They didn't steal DeAndre Hopkins from the Texans just finish 8-8 and fail to make the seventh seed. Especially while the shitty Chicago Bears blew it week seventeen yet still managed to advance over them. This season was a massive disappointment for them.
i call 2018 a fluke season with a great defense and a terrible offense. Kingsburry and the future of that organization rests with Kyler Murray’s development so we shall see how it goes.

OK but in a thread where somebody is throwing in the towel on 2021 the day after the regular season just ended its undoubtedly the appropriate response.
2021 should be a rebuilding year, as this one should have been. I would say i told you all so, but im kind of tired of doing that.

BTW, the twazz grabbers of CCS say this every single year, and have literally in every single of the 8.5 years I've been here "OMGWTFBBQ HARDEST SCHEDULE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111"

it's called parity. the elites can sink the cellar in one offseason too, and the zeros can become heroes.

also, who fucking cares and why do you care so much?

Rebuilding in the NFL does not work. Higher draft picks have no correlation with long-term success.

What do you call 2020 then? The shitty Bears who you think should've torn it all down and rebuilt still made the playoffs over the Cardinals. What does that say about Kingsbury?

it says he’s working with a 2nd year QB with an okay defense and in the toughest division in football. none of this applies to the shitty bears.

this is about as rough as it gets folks. Let Mitch walk, bring AR back, take OL in round 1, and ride the tank engine with Foles.

What world do some of you people live in? So you want the GM and coach to intentionally tank (since everyone knows by now how horrible Foles is) so they can get fired? There is no way Pace and Nagy get fired now after this season since they made the playoffs 2 out of last 3 years (does not matter what you think those are facts). Which means they will build on this for next year.....

I don't see any point to run it back with this team. Which QB on the market is putting this team over the top? None. What QB on this team is putting them over the top? None. And our draft position sucks.
Next year could be pretty rough. Zero startable QBs on the roster, odds are good that AR leaves in FA and no way to really acquire any potential QB talent.

At this point Mooney and Roquan are the only players I’m definitely keeping through the reset. Everyone else with an expensive contract goes.
i just think it would be a mistake to let a guy walk who had 100 catches and 1200 yards with this group of losers at QB. that’s a supremely talented WR.

Can you explain how the cap would look like after you released all these expensive contracts and before you signed 51 other players to replace them.

counter point: they could also not. only team i could see falling off from the teams you listed compared to this season is the steelers if Ben calls it quits, but even then they have the best defense in football. that’s a tough place to play with fans. Vikings will also be better than this season.

So if Brady quits after this year the Bucs will not fall off? Gronk, Antonio Brown are probably done too and doubt they play next year and even if they do, Brown will want $$ (doubt they give him) ...and we beat the Bucs this year and we can only be better next year as we have a full slate of draft picks coming in next year
Bengals have a QB but major issues on D
Giants still have Danny Dimes (who is worse than Trubisky at QB) - they will get Barkley back
Browns - who knows if they even keep OBJ who is always injured?
Lions and Vikings have major issues on D that I doubt they can significantly improve on in one offseason
Steelers lost to the Bengals back up QB this year

ARob’s not coming back. That ship has sailed.

The Bears will probably tank next year regardless of whether they mean to, and regardless of whether Trubisky is back.

I used to think this defense was tank proof. I don’t think that anymore. This is no longer a championship-level defense.

yes taking a team that picked in the top 5 last season to the brink of a play off appearance in one season is such a terrible job. he should be fired immediately.

Kyler Murray is a joke.....all he can do is run around like a chicken with his head cut off.....good thing he has a top 3 WR on his team that he can throw jump balls to like Matt Ryan does with Julio. or Stafford did with Calvin J ...and that makes all of them look like decent QBs.....none of them are special.... the Cards could not even beat Det this year and with the playoffs on the line they choked in back to back games against back up Qbs
