Conte's a tough SOB but he needs to retire. He's got CTE written all over him. He gave it every thing he got but life is way more important than football. Sick of seeing guys dying at 50-55 because of brain disease from high impact trauma.

Feel bad for the guy.

As you can see, it’s Devin McCourty and everyone else. And with McCourty a good candidate for the franchise tag, it could leave the secondary as the worst position to fill in free agency this year.

Behind McCourty are a few young players, Rahim Moore and Da’Norris Searcy, that could be an improvement for some teams, but will by no means break the bank. Behind them are veterans Dawan Landry and Antrel Rolle, both of which should see no more than one-year deals, but could still turn in 100-tackle seasons.

I agree, just trying to come up with reasons why the bears might not get a FS better than Rolle. not a ton of options out there for a FS

I trust that Vic Fangio and Ed Dontell will bring in the guys they feel best fit their system/scheme. Remember that Fangio runs his 3-4 different than most others so if they think Rolle and Mundy can get the job done then I'm good with that or maybe they have another plan that involves another safety from free agency or the draft or B.Vereen.

Remember the comment he made last year about how he'd give us 5-10 years of his life to add a couple years of football onto his career?? Dude just loves playing football.

Reading into the Free Agent buzz, but it seems like Rahim Moore is not on Fox/Pace's list. That's very telling seeing that Moore is young and his position is in-demand as the draft and FA don't offer much other upgrades. IMO, Fox obviously isn't excited to bring him in. Also looks like the Vikings are very interested in Moore.

Hopefully this is just for competition and a vet min deal.
