Bears gauging trade market for Cutler per Bernstein

Per Bernstein

Dan Bernstein - As was hinted by noncommittal words today, I'm told the #Bears are gauging the trade market for Cutler, if any exists. They'd move him.

I think anyone who watched the conferences to come to that conclusion. Not sure about what sources he has in this instance.

I think Bernstein believes he has enough media clout that he can influence the Bear's decisions by his opinions/rumors/speculations.

I hope it is true
Maybe they are trying to leak this info to get offers from other teams.

Leak what? A monkey could figure out from today's Fox/Pace presser that they are not fully committed on going forward with Culter.

Jay probably demanded a trade

Right... Because a QB coming off a season where he lead the in league in turnovers, games blown by a QB, and cost has all the leverage in the world....

Don't you think maybe, just maybe, they looked at the film, his pathetic 3 games over .500 record, his record setting coach killing stats, and his quitter tendencies, and decided that getting rid of him makes sense?

Hopefully some team will be stupid enough to trade their first for him, getting rid of Cutler is what's best for the Bears going forward....we have all seen enough.

I just hope the Bears can get decent compensation in return. Cleveland is pretty desperate for a QB as theirs is currently in rehab and their coach says they're approaching the off season as if they don't have a starter.
