It honestly would not shock me if jeanty just flat out busted in the NFL(Maybe not that far, but if he's not even the best back in this class). A lot of the teams he beat up on this year were some of the worst run defenses in all of NCAA.

I still think he will be a great player but its not someone you take at #10 when your team is full of holes.

I'm not really for drafting a RB high but you can easily talk me into someone like kaleb johnson if he drops to #72.

IDK if Jeanty will be a complete bust, but my logic, and i will die on this proverbial hill, is this:

1st round OL + Skat in the 3rd round >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jeanty in the 1st + 3rd round OL

Watch, if we miss out on Skat he will be a Chief and will become their starting RB for a decade.

I'm not even sure I want to see the Bears spend over the top cap space in this free agent class unless Smith hits the open market or just sign Dalman and some one year Poles specials.

I would rather see them go after more high floor guys in this draft class for a change instead of trait types that can't play at all or almost never hit their ceilings because the roster doesn't surround them with floor talent.

This is not a good FA class at all to gridlock your cap space with.

Maybe, maybe not. Its especially difficult to judge a mountain west conference RB because the players he's facing just cant tackle well. That wont happen in the NFL against most teams.

Then again, just because he played in the MWC doesnt mean he cant be good. Urlacher proved that for us.

Just think at #10 the risk is way too high. Only team i think is willing to even draft him that high are the cowboys, otherwise he may drop into the late teens or 20's.

If I want a smaller twitchy back, I'd just take a guy like Croskey-Merritt later. Hoping Cunningham gets Jaguar's GM job. That end of 3 pick could be valuable this year.
