Btw, is he finally coming back this week?

Prolly. But his injury prone history says he'll just reinjure. Baers might be better off just cutting him honestly

Barrett Jones can play if he's healthy. I'd imagine he'd get a shot on the 53 in a couple weeks if he proves to be healthy/in shape and Grasu takes over the starting C role.

My thing about signing B.Jones how they must not have any trust in our 3rd round pick H.Grassu. This was a pick i was excited about when we made it but they must not have much confidence in him as of now. I know he's on the smaller side and needs to get stronger so hopefully that's all it is and he's working his ass off in the weight room.

if they really didnt have any faith in grasu, jones would have been signed to the 53 man roster instead of being put on the practice squad. I think its just more of an insurance plan if another injury occurs.

I know it's a huge long shot and many of you will probably say washed up, but I'd like to see the Bears trade for Roddy White. Read he's unhappy with his role. When healthy he's a great 1 or 2 receiver and would be great to see a Jeffery, White, Royal, and Wilson depth chart at wideout. Even gives us flexibility to let Jeffery walk when Kevin comes back. I think a 5th a 6th could get it done if Falcons would consider moving him.

No we shouldn't be trading for anyone right now we should be trading for draft picks not trading away draft picks.

He's missed 9 games over 4 years and I think some of you forget he played injured a lot last year he was on the questionable list quite a few times but played anyways. I haven't seen one person say we should cut him. A true number one receiver should be dependable to go every weekend. Marshall missed 4 games in 8 years until that huge injury last year and still only missed 3 which is 7 total in his 10 year career so far. That's a reliable number one target. Jeffrey's only 25 and had two injuries his first year and already two this year. But go ahead and pay him 10-15 million a year to be on the sidelines.

He's my favorite player on this team next to Forte and Long but I don't think he deserves 10 million a year.

Roddy White got me .80 pts in my fantasy league last week. No thanks. :p

You're still putting R.White in your lineup after 3 weeks of duds?? That wasn't very smart. I dropped him in every league i had him in 2 weeks ago.

Not until he proves to me he can stay on the field. If he comes back this week or next and plays lights out than I say pay the man, but if down the road this season he gets hurt or just doesn't look right how can you say he deserves number one money?

Some of you guys on here are comical like little school boys ganging up on people. A 6th rounder isn't gonna break a team. I get that he's old but outside of Royal and Jeffery our wideouts are laughable. Hopefully Wilson can get it going but he's had one good game his entire career. White is old but still a quality receiver. It was just a thought no need for name calling, bashing, and making fun of lol. We are adults on a discussion forum correct?

Can you elaborate what you mean by the part I bolded? Edit: Ah, Roddy White. I didn't read the whole thread; I thought you meant Kevin White. My bad.

I drafted really badly unfortunately. It's also my 2nd league, and it's a friendly one so no money at risk. :) Plus Edelman was on bye and Cruz is still O. Percy Harvin also did shit, but meh.

It looks like Slauson will move back to LG and Grasu will start at C. With the Bears having an extra spot on the 53, they could decide to call up Jones depending on how he does after a couple of practices this week.

I thought they said Slauson was taking snaps as the Center still?

You are focusing on the wrong numbers.

Since being drafted he has played in 43 games. In that time he has three thousand yards and 20 TDs with an average of 14.8 yards per reception.

That is most certainly worth ten million a year. Best receiver we have drafted since Gault and we should not sign him because he pulls a hammy in August.

Bummed seeing Timu and Willams let go. As for Roddy, I wouldn't trade picks, but if there was a way to pick him up if he gets released at some point, I think he still has some juice left in the tank. He has to be better than some of our WR4/5s. But I don't see CHI doing it, they're looking to go young. I would NOT let AJ leave.

Jeffery is of no value if he doesn't play. One game this year. and missed many games last year. Not dependable. It has to have weight in a contract. If the Bears are smart, the contract is set up that he must be on the field to make the extra cash.

True, but we don't let him walk. I also want to see what we have in White before I make any decisions about AJ.

#Bears have elevated S Demontre Hurst from the practice squad to the active roster, signed G/C Ryan Seymour to the practice squad.
