We just drafted E.Goldman to play the NT spot so why would we give away our 2016 1st and then some for Wilk??

I think he's referring to muhammad wilkerson, who plays DE in a 3-4, not NT. Not that I'm condoning the trade, cause I wouldn't give a first.

Now I'm not sayin...ah fuggit I am saying. Pace should trade for this beast, and I'm sure the Jets would anticipate the Bears sucking this yr, so they'd gladly take our '16 1st rndr.

This is the last year of Wilkerson's deal and the Jets will probably let him walk. If we really wanted him we could make a run at him in free agency but he'll probably be out of our price range.

Also read that during the draft the Jets wanted multiple firsts for Wilkerson, so I don't think just our 2016 would cut it if we wanted him.

I don't think there is any way Pace gives up high value picks right now. We need probably two more full drafts just to be competitive and it doesn't seem to be in his nature (thankfully).

I would not give a 1st rounder for wilkerson....cause its either one and done or you have to give him a big contract....not worth it....
