Bears now officially the worst franchise in Chicago.

Does anyone watch the NBA anymore? Last time I tried it was just awful, and I grew up playing ball and watching the Bulls like they were my religion.
Nah I dont either. The three point revolution and constant off-season upheaval coincided with the Derrick Rose injury to really drive my ability to care into the ground. But I do know enough to know the Bulls are a train wreck much, much, much worse than the Bears.

Didn't the Bulls just lose to Cleveland?

Or the Sox hiring the whiskey-soaked corpse of Tony La Russa?

And did the Cubs ever do anyting other that start the Apocalypse with that one lonely trophy?

Have the Blackhawks beat a team NOT from Florida?

Has anyone posted in the Fire Forum in the past year?

Seems like a huge puddle of mediocre pudding to me, but at least I can go out to eat again soon because Chicago's restaurants are still Championship level.

.....whatever of them are left that is......

This injury to Eloy Jimenez hurts a lot, but the idea of pairing a three-time World Series champion with a loaded roster is perfect. Its like when the French Republic instituted the levée en masse and then handed the keys over to the most capable military man on the whole continent for a generation. OK maybe Tony LaRussa isn't Napoleon Bonaparte, but you get my point.

stopped like 5 years ago. Not interested in a super-team league.
Super teams and Rose tearing his ACL definitely ruined watching the NBA for me. The NBA is so much more predictable then the NFL which has more parody. You can pretty much tell who's going to the NBA Finals before the season even starts and that ruined it for me.

Was never into baseball hockey or soccer.

I too quit watching the NBA around 10 years ago. No defense, 110 - 115, running back & forth trading baskets. Just not entertaining to me.

I couldn't name four players today.

Seriously? Only 4 players?

Yeah. I can only think of LeBron, Durant (Who I only found out recently was still playing.) and the Croatian guy...maybe he's Serbian.

Edit: Harden too.

It's crazy because I was a huge pro & college BB fan from the late 80s to 2010.

I lived in PHX for a long time and it really died when Nash went to the Lakers.

But there are so many players all over different media, it's not like you even have to watch games to know a dozen or more players off the top of your head. Are you sure your not pulling legs right now?

I don't watch ESPN or any sports media. These days I just watch the actual NFL games. I don't use ESPN.com either.

Bulls aren't a very good team by any means, but I think you are wrong that they are a train wreck. The new FO I think could right the ship with this franchise. Don't get me wrong, until LeBron is gone they probably don't have a realistic chance at a championship unless they get incredibly lucky, but I think this FO has a game plan and a clue unlike garpax and the disaster in charge of the bears

"Officially" - where's this official source of yours? This word gets so overused, only slightly behind "like" and "literally". You're better than this OP.

Apologists & realists alike will say: Bears made the playoffs (albeit on a technicality). Until they bomb out with another losing season, this is just more emo CCS whining about the corporation.

We all do & should expect so much more, but will be stuck with mediocrity, which is worse than tanking.
