This defense is Pernell McPhee.

At some point and against some teams he simply will not be able to do it by himself.
Meh, it's a pop-jargon exaggeration thing to say. It's closer to the truth to say this defense is Fangio.

McPhee is the best talent, and makes the most plays, but Goldman and Jenkins efforts are helping McPhee complete the play, & make some plays of their own.

Even after Detroit, Fangio's defense is 10th in the NFL. You need 11 & a good DC to do that. He's also using the talents of Acho, McClellen, Amos & Porter to great effect.

No chance bears win this weekend. I can't think of another team with worse talent on the dline, lb and dbacks.

MN has a strong D and will be able to put up plenty of points on our d. I bet Peterson has a monster day.

Think harder, watch more games.

Even if he keeps it up, chances are that at some point teams will just double team him as he is pretty much our only pass rusher.

anyone else find it crazy with how anemic the defensive talent is that they're ranked so high? conversely, the offense is stacked with playmakers and they're overall kinda pedestrian. what an enigma. they've been faced with a lot of injury adversity and have at least hung in it, that's the blessing of vastly improved coaching.

game will probably be a repeat of the Lions game, unless they come out with some crazy far out stuff from the bye.
