The Bears made a huge statement today against the rampaging Eagles. Yea, the Bears have had many close games this season, but today showed an explosion of tenacity that is making them look like a scary team going into the post-season. Unlike 2006, they have a good quarterback (when properly blocked for). When we see our boys in the Superbowl, there is no amount of AFC bullshit that will stop them from freely steamrolling over any team they have to offer. Keep it up Bears!

  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Carolina Hurricanes

I don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves but I feel the same way. We played a nearly perfect game and if we can do that in the home stretch, I can see a deep run into the playoffs. Offensively this team is better then the 2006 team.

The defense allowed Vick to do too much, but stopping someone that red-hot is easier said than done. The defense did exactly what they needed. Chicago has always been a tough team, but looking back at 2006, their defense got them to the superbowl. Grossman dropped off the radar after 8 fantastic games, and it proved too hard to win a superbowl with only special teams and defense (I'll always remember my man Hester to start that game). This year I'm excited, because "Da Bears" are starting to look like the whole package. GO CHICAGO!!!

I would say that this game was really a turning point for the offense, it's the first game that i've seen them execute with consistency, this time they put the pressure off the defense instead of the opposite like we've seen before.
