I thought they would draft him with the second to the last pick in the 7th

- Luke Getsy coached him in the Senior Bowl

But I guess they figured at that point he would be available as a UDFA because the Rams already drafted Stetson Bennett

My nephew was a coach at Shepard (left a few years ago). I asked if he had any intel. This was his response: "He was a freshman my last year there. He doesn’t have the nfl elite arm but if he makes the practice squad after camp he will stick around a while. He works hard and is all about football. Decent athlete too."
