No wonder I prefer John H to his brother Him. John is a better coach and a better person IMHO. Just saying.

According to DBB...... ( I know I know)

Harbaugh wanted "the Gruden". 10 Years. 100 Million. Both the Bears and Vegas said nope.

Would love to know if my guy Winman has heard anything about this?

I figured he'd ask for that. Surprised the Raiders said no though.

I mean they just got burned on that and I think most people thought they were insane for offering that. ?‍♂️

An actual friend of Jim's, this guy you may have heard of by the name of Dave Wannstedt said they did not talk to Jim.

This is another big time swing and miss by both Hub and dUHbEeRzBlOb

I hope they put him through a rigorous mock press conference.

Since when has any real Bears press conference been anything close to "rigorous"??

Bears brass only allows for layup softies like "how do you feel about (winning/losing)?" or "What's it like to have a player like Mack/Roquan on your side?"...bs bs bs.

I listened to his interview and he said Jim Harbaugh had Pre-Lim conversations with the Bears and he wanted a Gruden 10yr over $100M deal and the Bears were not comfortable with with that risk of a long and that much - He said the Raiders aren't either after getting burned - Can't blame them - It is a lot to risk - So that is why Harbaugh fizzled out.

Looks like Quinn is the guy

No chance Jim reports to a <learning on the job> gm who is half his age.

It's okay, the Bears could take Flores + Watson. With Rodgers going to the AFC the division is wide open boyz

Quinn would be way underwhelming for me. I really don’t understand the support for him. He’s a defensive coach who rarely had a good defense and I believe has around a .500 record with a QB like Ryan.

I’m hoping he brings in Roman for an interview. The Toub connection is interesting. I’d assume he would bring in multiple candidates the bears haven’t met with yet. If not, I wouldn’t mind Leftwich.

It was reported Harbaugh was already out recruiting and just hired a new assistant coach.

Jim is staying at Michigan
And yet, that extension that was mentioned as "proof" three weeks ago, has yet to be signed.

Raiders, he's all yours.

On one hand, I would definitely say No.

On the other hand, how do you give that to Gruden and not Harbaugh if you're Vegas?

Thats what he’s worth and he shouldn’t have had to ask. That’s why I know the Bears will screw up this hire.

I remember Ditka talking to Jim on the sidelines after he threw a pick 6.

I dont know who the best HC would be...

But I would be high on Jim Harbaugh.

I wouldn't be crazy about giving anyone 10 years 100mil... and it's the 10 years part.

Who signs the check? It won't be Poles
Ted has to do something. Just saying, if you say you give him autonomy, do it as his vision suggests
