Am I the only one who saw Fields standing in the pocket while getting hit a few times delivering passes ? This was early on in the game btw.

You can’t just draft a QB and expect a miracle. It takes years for a QB to get to the level of a Rodgers who can just elevate those around him. Most never get to that point. Bears continually ask inexperienced players to do this, it’s a disaster every time.

I just don’t understand hiring a defensive head coach in an offensive league.

Even if he hires a good OC, he’s going to be gone after a while and then you’re back to square 1 with QB needing to learn a new offense.

Also, an offensive guy is more than likely better at evaluating QB talent which could help more in fi unsung the right guy.

At least that would be why I would have brought in an offensive guy.
