He had 9.5 sacks in 2022. I don’t mind the cost. He seems pretty average.

From the little I read he sucks at run defense but can rush the passer. Wasn’t a fit for new defense.

He can’t play against the run. I see him as a cheaper version of Yannick best case, which isn’t to bad. They definitely need more pass rushers.
I really wish they landed Judon, even for just one year it was worth it, he would have been a difference maker for this season.

He is a one dimensional player who was getting cut because he doesn’t fit in the new system. He does fill a need here but that is just because the Bears have very little developed talent on the dline.

He's not a bum, he's averaged 7 sacks over 3 years in the league on only about 40% of snaps, he is a solid DPR. He costs $3m. Basically traded Claypool for him.
