I used to think you were smart. Now, I can clearly see your critical thinking skills are not there. It shouldn’t be hard to piece the logic together here. Others have even commented and can follow. Unfortunately I see what I’m dealing with now.
Best part is he completely understands the argument, he only misrepresents what is said in order to attempt to win an online argument. Kinda sad when you think about it

Remy is definitely that dude that doesn’t get invited to things cause guys just wanna shoot the shit but he’d correct everyone and analyze the heck out of a dude making a random statement

“I think the Lakers could win it all this year” - Random dude

“Actually, statistically speaking it shows…” -Remy

Dependable, experienced, and a very solid player for next year‘s 4th? Good trade. No it isn’t going to be a long term commitment but they aren’t going solve every problem with perfect solutions. It’s fine.
Very good trade. Now add Dalman and the Bears 2025 starting OL may well been set. Hell, if Jones is then the weakest link in this line, I think we could all live with that for a year.

This looks like a trade down scenario for Bears 1st round pick. Probably get a DE, DT, or OT and get an extra second round pick.

Thuney is indeed a nice get. Don't you love how two years ago Bears fans were laughing at the Lions for taking a RB in the first round, now they want to draft one at 10?

The Chicago Lions..........................
Just because there are stupid Lions fans and stupid Bears fans that you conglomerate with, doesn't mean smart Bears fans want to draft a RB at 10.

I know why @remydat isn’t getting invited to any of MY parties. At least not the family parties.

Nahhh its worse he would be the guy that is aware of stats that would back up the first guys off hand remark, only to ignore those entirely for reddit threads with made up data that would suggest the opposite, all to just win the argument of course.

EDGE is a huge need as well
Yes, it is but so is DT and the Bears have to shore that up as well. If OL is taken care of with these trades, Bears can look for DT, Edge at 10 and 39, and I think there will be more good Edge players in that second round than D tackles.

I understand your logic just fine. The problem is you claimed you were only taking about FAs but then introduced a trade into the discussion. So again you started down this trade road first. I just followed.

So my logic is simple. If we are now using trades to justify our arguments then my argument is impact players are readily available via FA or Trade and Poles just needs to find and acquire those impact players. No need to cry woe is me. Good GMs find impact players all the time. You are confused because Poles hasnt been good and so you confuse his inability to consistently find impact players as there barely being any.

If you are allowed to modify your argument to include trades then so can I. Pretty simple really.

And dont worry, I never thought you were smart.

Adding a C in free agency and Bears 2025 starting OL will be in place allowing them to concentrate on the DL in the draft. DT's Graham, Nolan, Grant would all look good at 10, while there would still be plenty of good Edge rushing prospects still there at 39. Trade down would be fine if you can find someone willing to move up.

Trade down and draft Gray Zabel who can play C for us but can also play multiple other spots if needed or if he's needed to replace Thuney or Jackson. Every option is open now. We can go T, C, DE, DT, S, RB.

So true. He'll walk up to any group conversation and absolutely ruin the whole convo.

Would imagine trade down makes most sense unless Carter, Graham, Williams or Membou available.

Absolutely love the idea kinda going around that Mason Graham could be there at #10. Then we'd just have to worry about Poles not passing on him........ugh.
