He absolutely should be desperate to fix the OL because you're right - his approach has stunted the growth of both QBs under his watch.

They have sorely lacked leadership and stability from that group.

I am for this trade. Low cost, improves protection for our young gun, and frees up current resources to draft BPA instead of focusing on OL. Savvy moves and it helps improve the competitive window for this team while Caleb Williams is cheap.

That’s what this feels like tbh especially if they get Mack/sweat in free agency
The only other thought I'd have is going with the kid from UNC if Jeanty is picked before them. In which case, I imagine it would be a trade down.
