When I read postings, I imagine them being read in a celebrity's voice (dependent on the poster). For remydat's postings, I use the voice of Bobcat Goldthwait.
Hank hill is legit based off babas life so you know what voice to use with him

Can they turn some of the Jackson money into bonus and lower the cap hit? (I don't know much about NFL cap and how it works as you can tell)
Yes they can. But it would add to the guaranteed money (for 2026)

Yes they can but not sure it is worth it. It would just inflate his 2026 cap hit and not sure they need the money. They still have around 45m in space even after these moves.

No that isnt all you said.

You literally contemplated trading Jones to play Thuney at LT. SMH!
Holy Shit you're PFF DUMB.

I said - IF it were true then would you trade B.Jones. The one simple word you seem to be overlooking is...........IF.

It's called asking a question, not saying it's happening.

PFF released their highest grades for the top guards in 2024 and Thuney was number seven with a grade of 80.0.

Thuney spent a large chunk of his season at left tackle, having played 389 of his 1,288 snaps there, the postseason included. However, he mostly played guard, so he qualifies here. His performance as a tackle caused him to drop in the rankings, as he carried a 65.7 PFF overall grade with a 62.7 PFF pass-blocking grade and a 62.1 PFF run-blocking grade at the position.

At left guard, his usual spot, he boasted an 84.6 PFF overall grade, which would have moved him into fourth place on this list. His 90.4 PFF pass-blocking grade as a guard led the position by a significant margin.

This is big for Thuney, as he will be coming back with the Chiefs next season. But if they want him to be at his best, they need to sign a proven left tackle to help him move back into his normal position.

Thuney is indeed a nice get. Don't you love how two years ago Bears fans were laughing at the Lions for taking a RB in the first round, now they want to draft one at 10?

The Chicago Lions..........................
I think like 7% of fans want Jeanty, and definitely not at 10, at least not me anyway, I don’t think he’s special like Gibbs, Barkley, Hall, Bijan, etc…

Idk about trading for an aging OLine.

That said, when we picked up an aging John Tait from KC it worked out well in 2006.

Could be a fun 2-3 years if they actually build an OLine.

Correct you were entertaining a thoroughly stupid idea. I did not claim you said it was happening. I said you were stupidly considering/contemplating it which you just admitted. Asking a question means you are stupidly considering/contemplating it.

Bears really need to decide is Braxton Jones the guy or not. If he isn't, then I think it's clear we are taking a LT at 10 unless Mason Graham or Abdul Carter drop unexpectedly.

Now that Simmons has come "clean" that it was never an ACL tear but a Patella Tendon, I think he is out at that #10 spot. Perhaps they take a chance on Membou from Missouri. Athleticism is over the charts and with having an All Pro next to him in Tuney, would give him time to really mold into a good LT.

Will he play LG or RG? I'd say keep him where he plays.

LT - Braxton (Kiran)
LG - Thuney (Jenkins/Murray)
C - Shelton (Bates/Kramer)
RG - Jackson (Pryor)
RT - Wright (Borom)

I hope we get Dalman at Center. And then we can draft Jeanty, DE, or OL with our first three picks.

Agree but Jones' latest injury and the fact that the draft doesn't have much talent for true LTs muddies the water on that decision.

You werent being real. You were just crying. My general premise was there are always impact players available. Poles needs to find and acquire them. He just did.

What is stupid is pretending that his doing so via trade means there arent impact players via Free Agency.
Can you quote my crying please? Also, why when you made a list of impact guys and ways to acquire them, you didn’t say a trade? I’d have clarified that’s what we were talking about since you butted in like a blind idiot.
