I mean, it’s exactly what we figured his value was—a 6th, maybe a 5th if they were lucky. And he didn’t hold much value to this Nagy-led team as a player. So it was either let him walk in a year for nothing, or get something for him now. This should’ve been fairly expected on some level, although I admit I was starting to think they’d just pocket him.

Well they did steal him but that is because RBs are not worth much. Still a good trade for them. He still may have stretches where is not used in that offense but will be effective when used.
Get what you’re saying, but at the same time it’s a contradictory statement. We got what he was worth in today’s market, which isn’t much.

6th Round pick? And to a contender in the conference? So there we no better options? I would've thought Howard, with his experience/performance/age he would be worth a 4th somewhere.

im sure the 6th rounder we got will step right in and rush for 1000 yds. no biggie. we will put davis, cohen and mizzell back in a triple threat i formation!
Howard makes the Eagles better.
The 6th rounder adds a ST hopeful
you dont see that value????

I'd basically guarantee the next move is for David Johnson. He's gonna be a Bear really quick now

3.7ypc isn’t worth a lot. The whole league knows he’s average.

Bears fans seriously overvalued Howard. "But he was a 1000 yard rusher!" That's only 63 yards a game. He better get that when he's getting force-fed 30 carries a game. How's he in the pass game? What about his explosive runs? He make the first guy miss often?

I honestly thought he could be worth a 4th

Wow, wasn't expecting that at all. I thought they'd at least wait until the draft to see if they could get a couple teams wanting to trade for him.

Do you not pay any attention? The writing was on the wall for Howard.

I love this narrative that JHow makes the Eagles better with a 3.7ypc. Josh Adam's was a better rated RB than he was by dvoa and was a more efficient runner. He'll only have about 120-150 touches in their offense.
