I would be shocked if the bears "got their asses kicked". It's going to go one of 2 ways, Bears win big, or Bears win by a point or two. I don't see Washington beating the bears.
That's pretty much what I'm thinking

Not sure there's a reason to game plan differently. Both are mobile guys who come off the first read. Daniels does it better than Mariotta but pretty much they play the same.

Mariota is a little more savy but a little less mobile.

Not sure why you feel the need to be snarky because you have a different opinion. Should be implied that this isn’t mathematically a must win…but IMO, if the Bears are serious about winning the division, it is….Id be shocked if the Bears can go .500 in the division so a game like this is very important, especially after choking away the colts game. If you feel differently, then great.
If I'm being snarky it's in response to you being dramatic. Like there is 11 more games left and ALL of the divisional games.

It’s absolutely a must win for Flus and the Bears if they want to be taken seriously in the NFCN

Yesterday the Lions went into Minny and gave them their first loss. The Packers bested the Texans at home as well. If the Bears lose to the commanders coming off a bye it’s a wrap. They honestly need to win the next 3 (WAS, NE, ARZ) and look good doing it.
I hope teams don't take da Bears seriously...advantage Bears....but they will.....it's knuckleheads in the media who don't...probably to stir up trouble.

My biggest worry is dainels sits and matiota lights us up and and exposes our defense and the offense falls flat. As a long time bears fan I've seen this way too many times. Hopefully we come out and make a statement no matter who plays.

Yes…against the toughest division in football and the toughest 2nd half schedule in football. How many of those games do you think the bears are going to win? It’s not being dramatic, it’s looking at the landscape and realizing a loss to a commanders team could very easily come back to bite them. They already blew the colts game. This is a game that a good team on the rise wins…it’s a game that flus really cannot afford to lose against a team less talented

But sure, maybe the bears lose, but then go on to dominate the division, and finish the 2nd half on a tear. I personally doubt it, though.

Bears are 4-0 at home and 0-2 on the road.

Give me you thoughts on this game.

Me... I think the Bears and CW are looking to make a statement. I expect a road win. Both teams will be pumped to support their QBs. The CW vs JD all season by the talking heads makes this seem bigger then it is.
Teams win on the road and at home. Teams lose on the road and at home. What our home and away record is for the last 6 games don’t mean shit. It’s just a stat. That’s my take.

Why is coming off the bye a negative?
Past experience I guess. Even though what has happened in the past doesn’t really tell what is going to happen. If that was the case, teams wouldn’t be on a win 6 game win streak. Or for the ones on a win streak, they wouldn’t lose at all.

There is a clear home field advantage for all teams but maybe Dallas lately. Teams traveling coast to coach fair much worse even. Check win loss record across the NFL any time any year and it's clear. Vegas gives 3 to the home team too.

True, but it still don’t mean shit to me. You can get your ass handed to you anywhere.
