I ain't going to link it but most of you have probably heard about it by now. How fucking rich is this? Billy crying foul on someone else. Good God Gertie, I thought I heard it all until I heard this. The claim by the notorious leader of the evil franchise is that Welker deliberately hurt Talib which, in effect, caused the Patriots to lose. Wow, just wow.

Seeing Brady relegated to throwing to Austin Collie and Michael Hoomanawanui was a joke. I imagine the above is Bellichek unable to admit his own mistakes so he is compensating by going after the little engine that could.

I don't think a coach loses the right to comment on someone allegedly deliberately trying to injure his players just because he violated rules that had nothing to do with injuring players.

Of course Bellichek is off his rocker here but the two situations are entirely different. A coach has to protect his players.

I'm not so sure here. Belichick is a documented cheater, meaning he will do whatever it takes to win. Belichick coached Welker for 6 years. Belichick taught Welker for 6 years. If Welker is such a shady player shouldn't Belichick have kicked him off of the team a lot earlier? And if Welker was playing dirty here where did he learn to do whatever it takes to win? Belichick is a hypocrite and should stfu. He lost his rights to talk about fair play (whether about player safety or otherwise) a long time ago.

I agree, and I find it hilarious that Welker went to denver.
Marty Schottenheimer lamented his asinine decision to trade Welker to the Dolphins, calling it one of the biggest mistakes of his career.
Saban screwed the pooch on Welker as well in miami, not using him as a WR for the most part.
Belichick pulls off a great heist, sees insane production, and lets him walk for a diference in pennies....

Fuck the pats, I am glad Welker got the good end of the deal. Maybe Denver will finally be a team smart enough to keep him.

By this logic, any player that has hit players illegally can't talk about Spygate since they cheated by doing so and hence lost the right to speak on any issues regarding cheating. That's just stupid. They are two separate issues that you have just chosen to classify under the overall cheating umbrella to make a completely tenuous link between the two.

As it relates to this specific situation I already said I think Bellichek is full of shit and is just saying shit about Welker because he is butt hurt about the fact his decision to let him walk came back and bit him in the ass.

However, he is free to offer his opinion on player safety issues because that is less about cheating and more about keeping players safe.
