much of that probably had to do with his Andy Reid pedigree. he was pretty inventive with the offense in 2018 with the Bears. I think once they lost the strength of the defense with Fangio leaving as well as Trubisky losing the first of many steps, he wasn't able to repeat the magic the same way.

Nagy's notched a couple of Super Bowl wins since being back with the Chiefs, so he has to be pretty good at what he does as QB coach/OC

I think Nagy might have taken a step back after the Bears job for some ego maintenance. Likely microdosing edibles and giving himself some quality cookie time helped him dig deeper and become more effective in his coaching.
