Best Chicago Hot Dog

The hot dog has been so overly standardized in Chicagoland, that you can go to 10 different places, and get the same exact thing. You do have the posers who use inferior products, but for the most part....

I like it!

Although if you really want to judge a place for it's hot dogs, it's all about the fries.

I have to go with the chili cheese dog at Portillo's but Barney's has some good ribs but really it's tough to not eat a roast beef dipped when I'm in there. All that greasy goodness.

I have a place here called Sandy's. The owner is as big a Bear fan as I am and we sit down and talk football every time I go in there. Good hot dogs there too.

How do humans eat hotdogs? They are the most disgusting parts of animals that they have no use for. Plus they taste like ass.

Why would a human want those parts of the animal wasted?

That's why you eat them Chicago style, with all the good condiments, or as chilli dogs.

Not sure how you can be serious about not liking hot dogs.

Ill take an order of two all beef red hots with a side of cheddar fries from wieners circle! And if u dont like hot dogs thats fine..... wait no it isnt this is america and we eat and drink shit that will kill us quicker cause thats how we like our food with a side of cancer man up eat a hot dog.

I haven't had enough dogs in chicago to say which is best but I doubt any are more entertaining than Wiener's Circle. Plus they make solid junk food.

Superdawg Drive-in.

I have lived in Topeka, KS since Nov. 1, 1998 and have not been able to find a Vienna beef hot dog anywhere down here. There are no places that specialize in good hot dogs.

When I was a kid, my mom used to to take us to a place called "the Plush Pup" in Des Plaines, or Niles, I'm not sure which. I thought they were really good, but I was just a kid. What did I know? I'm pretty sure they closed long ago. I did find this online: Plush Pup - Norwood Park - Chicago, IL but I don't know if they are affiliated in any way with the drive in I used to go to as a kid.

I miss Chicago hot dogs .. and Chicago style pan pizza!
