No porn? :shifty: The Staples has Norton on sale for $30 and can be used on 3 computers. Or else they have Mcafee for free.

I use AVG + malwarebytes. That combo seems pretty decent.

+1 on avast

AVG is flaky, and the definition team falls way behind at times.

My tech guy uses avast for some of his corporate clients...better than Norton etc imho. I keep expecting a bill for this free service, but it never comes.

I don't even run an anti-virus or anti-spyware, and I haven't for well over a decade. But avast is good. Malwarebytes is good too.

I use AVG, Adware and Spybot Search and Destroy. All are free and work well. I had Avast but it started to make my computer freeze and crash.

Then how do you keep your computer from getting viruses?

Get Avast and Malwarebytes, that's what I use.

I used McAfee for the longest time, but switched to AVG this year and couldn't be happier. Downloaded the free trial then scrounged the internet for a product key. I'm good until 2018.

AVG and Malwarebytes for me as well. Nothing but good things to say about both. Can't believe they're free.

Maybe that's why he's offline..got hit by a hacker.

I've never met an unprotected computer that did not eventually give the user the dreaded blue screen etc.
