Best Hawk Draft Picks of All-Time

While not a draft, I would like to see Koci on this list so that I could wear his jersey proudly again.

In my opinion no member of the current roster should be on that list. Sure we won a cup (so in that sense they were the best draft picks we could have at that time), whos to say any one of them might shit the bed and jockey between the 4th line and the AHL for the remainder of their career following this year ( I highly doubt it, but you never know).





I think to be on that list you need to be retired or in the twilight of your career.



Also, I like how crawford is the only goalie to get a nod. You especially should not be putting up goalies that essentially just finished their rookie season in this day and age. Its all to often in recent memories goalies have stellar seasons then suck absolute ass.

If you didn't add Toews, Kane or anyone like that, guys like Krivokrasov would be making the list.



The fact is, the Hawks have not drafted well until very recently.



Crawfords competition is Leighton (43), Anderson (56), Waite (73), and Munro (17) are the only Hawks that have ever had NHL experience. You can throw Hasek and his 31 games that he played for the Hawks including the Playoffs. The fact is, Crawford already has played as many games as all of them (65 games total), and is destined to play for many more years as the Hawks #1. No doubt he is already the Hawks best goaltender they ever drafted, or to put it in other words, the most productive goaltender for the Hawks organization. Had Hasek played more than 31 games for the Hawks, or even was seated as the Hawks #1 at any point in time he would certainly be the best.
