Sup guys!

So we all know our Hawks start on the road either next Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday depending who you talk to that's connected to the organization. EITHER WAY starting on the road!

Where are your favorite places to watch the Hawks when they're on the road?

Personally I love BDUBS (Buffalo Wild Wings) - great TVs & audio AND FOOD! My usual meal consists of an order of fries (w/ spicy garlic sauce to dip), fried pickles, small order of house chips. Then when the server comes back for my third beer I'll get a 20 piece wings. 5 hot, 5 medium, 5 spicy garlic, 5 hot bbq. I usualy round it out after 6-7 beers with one of those molten chocolate cakes w/ vanilla ice cream and sprinkles.

If I haven't gone to BDUBS already twice that week I also love to frequent Buffalo Wings and Rings in Naperville. They have a tremendous 2 pound quesadilla appetizer. Follow that up with some beers, chips and salsa and wings... can't beat it.

So where do you guys usually watch road games outside of your man caves where you eat a bunch of fatty unhealthy food?

I usually stay in because I'm pretty handy in the kitchen and it gets me pumped up to make a bunch of stuff and get creative while throwing back some cold ones.

But when I do go out there's a couple super divey hipsterish places to go where they only have the hawks game showing. I'll get a tamale boat and maybe some irish nachos at one place, the other has pretty good sliders and greek fries, and decent wings. Not as good as the super hot ones from BWW, but pretty spicy. Let's put it this way, you need the bleu cheese dressing or they are too hot.

Sometimes I'll got to the City - have some bros in wicker park and we'll go watch it at Piece and grab a couple of pies. Probably do that if the first game isn't on fucking SUNDAY. Otherwise, dubz all the way if I'm thinking of a chain place. **** that lemon pepper shit though, I like my chicken spicy.

Normally, I go where the Roadwatch Crew goes.... that is if they're in Chicago or close to my present job.

If they aren't, and I'm very OCD about hitting up a Hawks playoff game immediately from puck drop, I'll hit up Crew, chances are. That bar is literally within walking distance of my job. Its also a ***-friendly sports bar, one of only two that I know of. The food is delicious and there's lots of televisions to go around.

In case your curious, Crew is at 4804 N Broadway in Chicago, basically in the Uptown neighborhood, near the Lawrence Red Line. If I'm working on a game day and you let me know ahead of time, come and join me one of these days.

Really aren't any good bars around these parts to watch the Hawks. I watch most games at my own or someone else's house.

The opposing teams stadium???

Or local dive bars are preferred to me over sports bars or Bdubs which I like, but don't like when it's a time people want to be there to watch something exciting. Regular season game at Bdubs works fine. I remember being at that once with a friend during the 2011-2012 season talking aboot the success or chances of Kane working and staying at center. Man that Carcillo-Kane-Hossa line was making some highlight moments before Carcillo dun goofed himself. You can't get that convo going as easily when you have randos hippin' and hollaring

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
The last couple of times I caught the 'hawks at a local BWW with a buddy of mine, they crumbled like Nepalese housing in an earthquake (too soon?)

As such, I tend to stay at home and watch them on GCL or TV.

LOL. Well, I hope you wouldn't just come over to my house uninvited.... That would be awfully internet stalker of you. And my dogs would probably eat you. ;)

I asked because I work like 5 minutes from there. We hit up BWW like once a week for lunch, though...we don't put down the 5000 calories that Grim just rattled off. Buffalo Wings and Rings is pretty damn good too, surprisingly.

And why the **** would I spew mad jizz up in your face IRL? Cuz teh internet serious business?!?!?!?

dubz is great for hockey doe right?

I've only been for one game but people seemed pretty cool and the wings were spicy.

I've only been a couple times for the Hawks, but yeah. It's one of the best places to catch a game. I typically stay home so I can get thoroughly shitfaced and scream unfiltered obscenities at any volume I so choose. I also like watching on my big ass TV, and not driving drunk.:beerbang:

That's my typical M.O. too.
I'm in a townhouse, and one time our neighbor asked my wife if everything was alright because he heard us screaming. He thought it was a huge fight. We really don't fight much at all and couldn't figure it out, and then we realized it was around playoff time.
Sometimes my mouth just runs amok. I'm afraid to even watch a game with our nephew it gets so bad.

No games in the TCD apartment hold when Hawks playoff games are on. Everyone shuts their mouth esp the mule who tries to talk about relationship problems and who has an anxiety attack every time the opposition crosses the blueline even if its 1 on 5.

Nightmare. I wish bars here showed hockey games and not japanese anime.
