With all the competitions on defense for LB and Safety, who do you think will surprise you the most this year? Im going to go on a limb here and say Bostic and Mundy.

I'm going to make my bold prediction as the defense as a whole.

1) Bears top 7 Run Defense
2) Bears top 15 Pass Defense

If the offense can score early and often they can really help out the defense.

Positive surprises:

1. Will Sutton and Ego Ferguson both contribute and play well
2. Willie Young turns out to be very good
3. Bostic is much improved
4. Kyle Fuller is the real deal - total stud
5. Brock Vereen is very serviceable
6. Christian Jones not only makes the team, but contributes and shows a lot of promise for the future
7. Lamarr Houston turns out to be a total stud

Negative surprises:

1. Briggs finally shows age -- slows down and more injuries
2. Peanut's injuries come back
3. Jared Allen doesn't miss any games, but doesn't provide an improvement over Peppers
4. Conte doesn't even make the team
