I still have no idea why, but one of the grandfather's hobby was breeding sparrows... that was his thing.

Not that I wasn't impressed; he bred sparrows that mimicked gold finches, which was pretty cool. just completely unnecessary.

Lmao... apparently you get about a week or 2 bird free before they return.
I myself was going to get rid of the nest before a friend told me they would be back. Sure enough, there she was almost immediately.

My dove just hatched round 2.
I am going to move the shelf she built her nest on outside when these 2 fly off.

I had a baby blue Jay in my yard yesterday evening. The mom dive bombed me repeatedly as I tried to shoo it towards some bushes.

That bitch didn't fuck around. I honestly believe that she would have locked talons on me had I not been ducking.

Birds have found my feeder. Those fuckers are eating like crazy, I may have to put them on a diet. Also, my bird bath is filthy. I have to change the water at least every couple of day. This is like a full time job

I got stoner chick a new seed block and a squirrel baffle yesterday. Today feed pole is at 45 degree angle, block cage is open and seed block is gone but for a pile of shells. Looks like the work of racoons to me.

Sparrow (was grilled on a stick in Japan, at least I think it was a sparrow)

Baiting them to make it easy to hunt/breed them is a tactic for sure. Some just feed and watch though. Pervs!
