I think we could put the Ward Jr. death in here as it's horrible and uncommon, but I'd rather not talk about it.

I resisted as long as I could, but I was listening to so sportstalk radio out of Indy yesterday and they were throwing so much hyperbole around and really droning on about specific things that there is no way to determine that I had to watch it for myself. Just brutal. And how anyone can come to any conclusions based on that I don't know.

Nobody knows what Stewart was thinking, and we will never know unless he tells us. I do know one thing (and those of you who have served will agree): Anyone who has ever taken a human life (on purpose or accident) is never the same afterwards.

I don't see any way that Stewart did that on purpose. I know he's known as being a prick... but I don't think he would intentionally hit anyone.

It was the idiot who got out of his car on a track with a live race going on that got himself killed. Just coincidence it was Stewart that hit him.

Holy crap, that was about 2 blocks from my old place, I've walked by there a boat load of times. Nice church, but honestly surprised this doesn' t happen more often with really old churches. Lots of ornate stuff to fall off.

Sheriff: Burned armpit hair led to Idaho car crash

Posted by John de Leon

The Associated Press

BOISE, Idaho — A car full of teenagers crashed in Idaho after authorities say one of the passengers lit the driver’s armpit hair on fire with a lighter.

The Idaho Statesman reports all five young people in the Ford Bronco were hurt in the crash Sunday and had to receive medical treatment. Authorities say two of the passengers were thrown from the vehicle, but none of the five suffered life-threatening injuries.

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office says the rollover occurred after a 16-year-old boy was goofing off in the front seat and lit 18-year-old Tristian Myers’ armpit hair on fire while Myers was driving.

Deputies cited Myers with inattentive driving, while the 16-year-old was cited for interfering with the driver’s safety. The passenger’s name wasn’t released.

A court date has not yet been set for Myers, who has no listed phone number.
