I’m not reading this “article”, but: I hope BJ and/or his staff aren’t finished with tape eval yet and definitely will demote any players who are fucking off

So who's gonna be demoted ?

From the article:
"Cornerback Jaylon Johnson, wide receiver DJ Moore, quarterback Caleb Williams, safety Kevin Byard III, linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards, and tight ends Marcedes Lewis and Cole Kmet were named captains before the season.“

"It’s their locker room,” Eberflus said via the Bears website. “I told them it’s their team. We’re gonna give you the keys. We’re gonna prepare you how to drive and all those things, and we’re gonna be there to help you. But it’s their team. They gotta drive it.”

Well, Mercedes Lewis isn't even on the team anymore, so that's at least one easy change. But really, considering how that team and locker room last year, I think it's good to put them all of notice.

I am guessing Caleb is one regardless, but I have no problem shaking things up a bit. For example, I think it could be easy to drop DJ Moore and Cole Kmet as captains and replace them with Thuney (assuming he wants it and is willing).

Nice to see an emphasis on leadership. Whatever you thought about Roquan Smith and David Montgomery , they were key team leaders.

Ryan Poles seemed to be blind to this aspect of building a winning team.

Moore lost my vote.
Odunze is better captain material.

Thuney or Dahlman, Caleb or Odunze, Swift, Johnson, Sweat, Billings...
