I see people are eager to reintroduce their love of players that end in V.

Blackhawks Fan Since: Early 80's when i was a wee lad.

Favorite Current Blackhawks Player: Probably Crawford and/or Debrincat.

Favorite All-Time Blackhawks Player: Marian Hossa. Mikita, Hjammer, Prober, and Grimson are very close though.

Favorite Blackhawks Moment: Can't name just 1:
  • Shutting out the Bolts for cup 3
  • 17 seconds of Glory
  • The lost puck in 2010
  • Shaw with the header goal that didn't count.
  • The worst referee of all time, Steve Walkom, giving Saad 2 minutes for being hauled down to the ice and negating the series-winning goal against Detroit, only for Seabrook to give him the ultimate "**** you" and win it for us anyway.
  • John Scott v Kevin Westgarth "In Ultra-mo....EEEUUUGGHHHHH"
  • Patrick Kane fighting John Scott in the all star game.
  • Brandon Bollig's "Operation: Raindrop"
  • "Fuckin' A Right Chicago!"
  • Joel Quenville showing his appreciation for Goaltender Ron Tugnutt

I'm with on all of them, but not familiar with:
  • Brandon Bollig's "Operation: Raindrop"?

I can't post the video now, but you remember when Kane did that commercial when he was stickhandling through an imperial buttload of pucks and then ended up firing one into the stands to hit the camera?

Bollig did a parody of that. Hilarity ensues.

My name is Dave, been a Blackhawk fan for all of my nearly 59 years. The last couple of years have been a bummer. It's time for Stan to go, every move he makes seems to be the wrong one. I loved the defenseman that was available when we drafted, but he chose the 8th best available player.

There won't be 8 players who end up more impactful than Dach...and there aren't even 3 who will have a bigger positive impact on their club over the next 2 years.

Dach was needed now and long into the future. Thats about the end of the story.

If you watch the highlights of Byram play...the guy is a slow motion wonder-kind. He floats around (assuming other lads his age are scared of him) and glides and goes wherever he wants and flips it somebody. Good leader. Good body. Good stamina. All those things, but he ain't Dach and that will be evident by year 3, if not year 1 when we see Dach scaring grown men and knocking them into the ice tank with his 18 year old rubber body and massive skeleton.

If I were the Hawks I might see the shiftiness of Bovqist and project him to end up above Byram also. I think that is the crux of what happened. Somebody said "Bovqist is better" and someone else in the room said "Mitchell might be too."

Trade down for Pods or Caufield would have been impressive to say the lease, but I am the guy who tries to fit better lines together around here and I am fucking goddamn tired of trying to figure out how to form lines around limited centers.

As soon as Toews/Strome/Dach are all going it will make sense.

They couldn't have brought up 2 - Dmen, and they know better than anybody Bovqist is ready now and Mitchell is coming. And they had joker and KK too.

Dach was a wise move, I am fucking impressed they had the balls to do it, but they really thought about it and grabbed the player they needed. The other centers, Zegras and the other guy...are not athletic studs like Dach. They are pencil necked millenials, and DAch is a throwback and a skilled giant who belong in the NHL on day 1.

Day 1 can be Hayden if you ask him to.
