It's weird, this was only Eberflus's 2nd year with CHI yet it feels like a lot longer than that.

Objectively speaking, it's hard to think the Bears would fire him after only two seasons (one of them being where they gutted the team of talent).
They may have even told him he had 3 years unless extreme circumstances.

Lol harbaugh is not doing anything RN, he's playing the biggest game for him in the last decade in a few hours.
Yep. After they(presumably) win tonight, he’ll probably celebrate all day tomorrow and then get down to negotiating with Michigan, LAC, LVR, etc.

Houston was every bit as bad as the Bears in 2022, yet Stroud led them to the playoffs as a rookie, but, carry on with your excuses
HOU 2023 additions to the offensive line
Juice Scruggs G - Current starter
Jarret Patterson C- Starter until injury
Shaq Mason RG - Starter
George Fant RT - Starter
Kendrick Green C/G - Starter until injury

I only wish we could have added that much talent to the offensive line.
Houston revamped their entire O-line except All Pro Tunsil.
We added Darnell Wright and some scrubs

Stranger things have happened...

The combo of how warren/poles feel about fluss and how warren supposedly feels about harbaugh(not good) is confirmation enough for me.

I'd be super shocked if Fluss is let go at this point. If they were going to do it he'd already be fired.

I still believe if they rolled out the red carpet with a blank check harbaugh would come here in a second. Just dont see that happening, this franchise is too loyal to their mediocre coaches.

And yet if we added that many new starters the excuse would be the oline needs time to gel, just like Fields needs time to develop lol

But we didn't, so the questions continue.
We all knew we needed a center, and didn't do anything than trade a pick for useless Feeney that can't beat out shitty Patrick.
We all knew that Whitehair is getting old and less effective, and we overpaid for Nate Davis
We all knew that Tevin Jenkins has issues with staying healthy, and we hoped Whitehair could fill in

We could have drafted Patterson at center too. He lasted until the 6th round.

They need better olinemen....

stop making pre excuses and beating around the bush. The Bears oline has been bad at pass blocking for a long time.

You are fighting a losing battle. You are trying to apply logic and reason.

I think the feedback in today's exit interviews might play a role in the future of Getsy. Other than that and potentially hiring a defensive coordinator, I don't see any news coming out Bears related for quite some time.

Haven’t had a decent center since Garza
