Security should be the same ones from the UC, if you had to put up with the shit most of them deal with , your attitude might be a little harsh.

Yeah it was the UC security. Both probie and I work security. It's really not that hard to be friendly and still do your job. It's actually easier.

It was pretty good. Although most of the seminars were just a rehash of last years. It was sweet to be able to go around to all of the old timers lines and have no problem getting signatures. I was able to get Goulet without an issue at all. Goulet was sweet he was offering to sign inscriptions on everyones items, "do you want anything else? Number of goals or HOF?" I was also able to get Mikita, Hall, and Esposito. I was able to get Hall and Tony-O because people were "upset" when their scratch and win were "old" guys and they just gave me their cards.

I was also lucky enough to get crawford on a photo from 2008 that I plan on framing with my ticket stub from his first shutout. I also picked up Kruger on a Hawks puck.

Overall, I got a bunch of signatures and didn't wait in too many lines and still got to see a few seminars. The Generations of Goal scorers one was pretty awesome even if I think Chet Coppock is a dick...

I was watching the Goal Scorers one online. I lost it when someone asked Bobby if great goal scorers were born or made and he said something along the lines of, "Well, I think I made a pretty good goal scorer!"

I can see that, but it's a fan convention. I work security for a hospital, I deal with crazy people and drunks all the time. With security you should know when to have an attitude and when you shouldn't. It can make a simple situation complicated. I can see if your doing something really stupid and ignorant, but you should not be scolded for innocently walking up to a player for an autograph at a fan convention.

Well they wouldn't sign anything either. We pay good money to see them. They can sacrifice a bit for fans. And even I was making fun of everyone in the sharp line. 6 hours?

So by "get your shit auto'd and keep it moving" you mean "stop everything you're doing and cancel all plans for 6 hours to wait for one player to sign a jersey,

Im talking about the autograph lines bud. Yeah, keep the line moving. Id rather wait 6 hours in a line that was supposed to be for autos than walk up to a player at random like a stalker. Im sorry your feelings got hurt by a couple people who didnt feel obligated to be your friend for a minute. Its a chance you take when you do that. You could have waited like everyone else. You had shit to do, whatever, your choice.

Did they have a bunch? I got some practice/game worn third socks last year. I would love to have the pants too.

Any idea if they will be on the auction site or did Parchy say how they were selling them, exactly?

They still had some when i left. Troy didnt elaborate how they would get rid of the leftover stuff.

It's a fan convention. Thats as close to obligated you can get. And as far as coming up to them for an autograph. Every time I saw a player. They came past me. I didn't hunt them down or camp out. There are back ways around the Hilton. They chose not to use them. And the pictures I was talking about were not in lines. They were just around the place. Foley, McDonald, Bickell, Scott, all had no problems with pictures.

"Then kept hearing conversations about how hot Swedish guys are. Kinda got annoying."

Well, sounds about right there I have to say...
