I don't know if I agree that Torts saw the Hawks coming in as a reason to rest Henrik. I wasn't in the room for the decision, so who knows. I did watch the highlights on NHL Network last evening, and they were showing the MSG feed. Once it was 3-0, one of the announcers went "Oh boy," referring to the Rangers were going to be the team the Blackhawks were going to end the streak on-- meaning that the NYR-- and the rest of the teams that faced the Hawks on the slide didn't want to be the ones to end that streak.

Now the Hawks have to go to Columbus and face a relatively healthy turd of a team (Wiz is finally back, but Carter is finding the score sheet too)-- let's hope they don't lay one on the ice Saturday.

I just made an observation, it's not like I had some epiphany. I rarely gamble and I go with safe bets (except the lottery - someone has to win it, right?).

I just didn't know why bierboy had to retort to my comment. Seemed pointless and just an attempt to jab at someone.

Jackets have been playing well. If the Hawks don't play like they have the past two games they very well could lose.

Well, maybe this will be Q's real test. It seemed obvious to most of us that Scotty 'helped' Q with the lines and PK schemes. So, if Q goes back to old habits and switches things up constantly or just flat out ignores the suggestions then I can't imagine he has much life left in his career with the Hawks.

Time will tell. The gameplan last night worked great. We looked a bit like the Wangs, go figure.

Yes! I loved the short, crisp passing as they moved the puck up ice.

I thought the Hawks played a great game, one that I have not seen perhaps all year! I can't remember the last time I saw them so hungry for the puck. They won so many one on one battles for the puck. So much hustle! WOW! Great passing from their own end out all the way through the entire sheet of ice.

God that felt good, I jizzed my pants.

More exclamation marks?

After Sharp's goal I clapped like I hadn't for a Hawks score in a long while. After Hossa's, my wife even clapped and she doesn't follow hockey.
