Blackhawks Alumni vs. Rockford IceHogs Alumni~ Sat. Nov. 12th

On Saturday, November 12th the Rockford IceHogs will be playing against the Peoria Rivermen (Blues Affiliate). Prior to that game there will be an alumni game featuring Chicago Blackhawks against Rockford IceHogs. There are going to be more details to follow about times and such but wanted to let everyone know about the event in case you want to consider coming to Rockford for this event.

Even if there was.... lets put this into perspective.... normal Hogs tickets ON THE GLASS are $25.

yup... thats what woodrow said... even though sadly the last couple times I was there... there were tons of vacant seats on the glass.



I am happy with my $15 center ice first row tickets in the 200 level.

The event is the first ever IceHogs alumni game and Rockford’s team

will feature Scott Burfoot, Ben Christopherson, Steve Cygan, Dan Davies,

Oak Hewer, Kenzie Homer, Brad Olsen, Jason Ralph, J.F. Rivard, Joe Statkus,

Erik Wendell and Clint Wensley.

I went to a Hogs game in 1999.



He scored a couple of goals, and won the game in a shootout.



I remember it was dollar beer night, which makes my recollection even more impressive.

I wish I had told you to tell him I said he "SUCKED" at the game. He laughed when I told him that.

Yeah, I was really hoping to hang around with some of the guys after but I did not have much time to be there.

I actually left a wedding, stopped in for part of the alumni game and then left after their first break for the reception of the same wedding.



Here I am sitting behind the Blackhawks bench in a suit and tie and ended up talking to Lou Varga's grandson. Some lady behind taps me

on the shoulder and says you must be with the Blackhawks since you know so much about the players........ LOL
