I thought this was already explained when this came up the last time. It's an accounting technicality as the article explains. The Blackhawks have been borrowing money from other Wirtz companies for a number of years and are still paying that back and apparently it has managed to earn enough to turn a profit next year. Even if Wirtz owns eveything, the entity called the Blackhawks in his conglomerate is losing money. Formulating it like that is slightly disingenous when considering the money is from the same person, but technically it's true.</p>
