they are a well balanced team. I dont see them dropping off anytime soon. I hope we win because we seem to being playing much better, but this is a physical team that might end the winning streak.

Hawks have won the last 2 and the one in St Louis this past December was one of the more impressive outings this season. I expect more of the same.

yeah, but the blues are still better. Cant really go by heads up play records. Halak is in net too which will be a challenge. it should be tight, hawks are playing better, but losing to the blues wouldnt be a shocker. again they have a nice balance on their team.

No you can't.

It's completely worthless. I don't even know why they play each other at all!

if you base evaluations on specific team on heads up play you would be misevaluating the team. It has nothing to do with playing the games. Again, CBJ has played the wings good this year, are they better than the wings because of heads up play?

I don't think he is necessarily saying the Blackhawks are the better team, just that they are on a winning streak and have played the Blues tough recently. Good vibes going into this game, that's all.

This is true, though less good vibes and more playing the Blues tough lately.

I really liked the way the Hawks played in that December game in St Louis. That was a big game and they pulled it out with a gritty, come from behind performance on the road against the hottest goalie in the league.

Most importantly, the Hawks didn't let the Blues push them around which the Blues are very want to do. Add in Bollig and Hayes on that 4th line and if things get rough like they tend to do in this matchup, I like what the Hawks can throw out on the ice.

But hey, the Blues are better. No sense in playing this game or even imagining that the Hawks can pull this one off.

again you are missing the point. It isnt about not playing or playing the game. Can the hawks win? yes. I think they will by the recent play of the hawks. It doesnt change the fact that the blues are a better team hence the 10 point swing in the standings, but I guess that doesnt matter right? or the +7 dif for the hawks and the +38 for the blues. shall I go on?

This forum is exactly like the Hawks official message board.

I haven't the basis for comparison since I've never visited the official board, but assuming your negativity of the OB and if you truly feel/think that way, why visit/post here?

A win today would be awesome. Not too look too far ahead but if the Hawks can grab this game and the next one against the Rangers, it'll do a lot of this team mentally.
