(Like there was any other GIF to use here?)

40-20-5, 85 points, 1st place in Western Conference

35-23-6, 76 points, 5th place in Eastern Conference

Puckdrop - 6:00
TV - CSN Chicago
Radio - WGN AM 720

Remember a few weeks ago when the Hawks were in first place in the Western Conference but we always had to add the caveat that the teams behind them still had a game or two or more in hand? Yeah, forget that. Now the Hawks sit alone atop the Western Conference standings having played the same number of games as the second-place Stars and one fewer than the third-place Blues, who are two points behind. With the final deadline acquisition expected to suit up (that'd be Dale Weise), I see no reason to let these two points slip away, do you?

LET'S GO HAWKS!!!

Hope Scott Darling gets the nod. Crawford deserves a short break after outplaying 2 other Vezina candidates.

Has not been confirmed yet but that is the wide-ranging speculation on tonight's starter.

No. Keep making the case. You got to rip it from Houltby's hands with that many wins. The Capitals though as we saw, play entire games in their opponents zone. I suspect Houltby is not playing at the Crawford level right now. Through two periods yesterday that is as good as I have ever seen Crow, and the announcers said the same. He was a wall until we were way up.

In my opinion, Tukka Rask is the best goalie I have ever seen at times since Dominique Hasek. Where Quick can be inconsistent, and slightly overrated (I have thought since 2013 Crawford should at least be on the olympic team if not starting) Rask and Price are the real deals, best in the world right now.

I wouldn't give up a chance to see Crawford vs Rask for anything.

Well, if memory serves the GM's vote for the Vezina, so chances are they have a pretty good idea of how they play, and unlike the rest of my fellow air-conditioner ballast, they won't be blinded by the names of our D on paper; they will see that Keith is not in Norris form, we have 2 rookies, and Sebas has been a defensive tire fire. In spite of all of that and seeing more rubber than Madonna's twat, he still has numbers better than m9st of the starters that are not wholly team stats, like GAA and wins.

Who knows though. IMHO if he's not top 3 in the finalist ranking he would have been fucking robbed.

Don't know if anyone saw lines yet or anything, but it was said postgame I believe I saw, one of the players was being interviewed can't remember which maybe seabs, but they said it was good to do this and that and that they saw Dale (Weise) in between periods and such, so it sounds like he has his stuff and the visa has been worked out so maybe he's skating with them today and will go for this game? Anyone heard? I've been to busy to try to track it down.

EDIT: Nevermind, i'm an idiot, I googled his name after I posted to see if I spelled it right and he's listed as expected to play. Should be interesting to see how he slots tonight. I expect 3, but maybe he'll go 4, hell with Q he may go 1.

Also... don't fap too hard Tater but....

"In other roster news, Quenneville said Marian Hossa should return to the lineup either Sunday at home against the Red Wings or on the ensuing two-game road trip to St. Louis and Dallas, the two teams with which the Hawks are currently tied for first in the Central Division."

The only time I recall Q not going with a goalie swap in back to backs was when the first game was a afternoon game so he kept crow in the next night.

I'd love to see another gif of midget-head Raaaaask doing something idiotic. Well done DMelt.

Also, I will give a crisp new $100 bill to the first Hawks player that cross-checks Marchand in the larynx...or his "face".

Darling is confirmed to start.

Additionally - Weise in for Panik and defense stays the same as last night.
