Crawford is playing some of his best hockey ever. He had to in that 2nd period where the Canadians had the best of it. He actually is keeping the Hawks in this game. The Hawks need to get out of 2nd gear and pick things up.

Confidence continues to grow that no matter how the Hawks play in the postseason, the play of Crawford will be too good for them to lose.

Hossa looked like he got in a scuffle with Michael Myers. I am afraid that's a mark we may see for the rest of his life. He came back. Leadership.

Fucking Garbutt shows up as soon as he realizes the new guy Panik might be able to play a little. Typical for a POS, waits until he is the last man on the starting lineup to find some juice to give. Let's see how long the guy can hold off Dano, Panik, Danult, Kruger, Rasmussen, Bickell, Mashinter.

I don't see him the last man standing from that group, I think he gets passed before playoffs but it was nice to see him show up today and not just on the goal. He elevated his play. Keep it up and I'll be pleased to be made wrong.

I hope we never, EVER have to see Scud and Rosie on the ice at the same time again. Two dinosaurs is just too much.

When that happens doe, Rosie gets to be the fastest dman on the ice for the Hawks. Good for his confidence. .......haha

That rule where every team has to be represented in the All-Star game screwed him hard.

At least he gets to rest over the All-Star break.

...been facing a lot of shots, lately.

The D needs the rest.
They're the ones allowing teams to pepper Crow with the shots.
NHL.com put out an article of early Vezina candidates, and Crow isn't even on that list.
I think he's right behind Holtby.

I honestly think that the rest is going to be better, but really, they could have just picked a skater from Minny and gave Crawford the nod (and probably left Toews off).

Yeah...How the smeg are Lundqvist, Schneider, and Mark-Andre "Hasn't done jack or shit since 2009" Fleury in the race? Mrazek, okay. Lou, okay. Holtby is definitly the frontrunner, but those three are definitly bleow Dr. Craw.

That was probably the best game of the year for me. The Canadians were skating about as well as any team that the Hawks have faced in awhile. They kept pressure on the entire game and didn't let up. And that sequence that the Diehardfan showed was truly amazing to me. Thanks for posting it!

I'm not sure what Q sees in Scud. Watch him instead of Crow in that video...he doesn't do much but jump around, almost hindering Crow like a second goalie in the net. He appears to be a slower version of Runblad.

The Hawks forced the Candiens to make a move, there was a boarderline NHL/AHL talent swap sending John Scott to Montreal.

What Q sees in Scuderi... he's the 7th defensemen that's all it takes. He's better in the zone than Rundblad, he'll actually separate guys from the puck & that's a bonus. I'm sure Q would rather even have Svedberg as his 7th if he had that choice to swap them. I guess Svedberg playing top line minutes with Pokka in RFK is better for him though still
