Vaughn: The United Center was just awesome, especially with everything that was going on with the Stanley Cup run. (Laughing) I'm a slave to my craft, so if that that's where they needed me to be, that's where I go...not that I influenced it or made any suggestions. It just happened. Seriously, it just made a nice tie-in to the film, especially for guys who like sports. You just feel like a big kid when you get to go and be a part of it.

Richards: Hockey was pretty invisible on television here when you grew up. Were you a fan growing up?

Vaughn: I used to follow the Hawks. I played the Hawks in "Swingers" in that video game scene but when the strike happened, like a lot of fans, I lost touch. What really re-energized me was the Winter Classic when the Blackhawks played the Red Wings. I took all my family to Wrigley when it came here. It was great.

James: I was a huge fan of the New York Islanders but like Vince said, when the strike happened, I just kind of faded out too. Going with Vince to see the Blackhawks totally re-energized me too. I mean, he's like the mayor of Chicago, plus the national anthem at the United Center is amazing. It's the most inspiring thing that I've ever seen. Just for that alone it was incredible.

I didn't realize Vince Vaughn had unseated Jim Belushi as mayor of Chicago...

I know a few people who saw this last week and they said it was good.

I'll wait for the DVD.

I would not think it would be that disappointing of a movie.

It is a Ron Howard flick after all. Pretty good success rate.

I don't know the trailer kind of looked like shit.

I am with you. The trailer makes the flick look horrible. I am sure it is a fine comedy. Probably run of the mill, romantic, perhaps bromatic, date night fodder.

Ron Howard is a good director, and knows what he is doing. The movie gets the benefit of the doubt from me just because of Mr. Howard.

At least Jean Claude Van Damme isn't in it.

Hopefully, more than 3 people will get this.

Yea, and sadly I paid to see it in the theater.

And the Hawks lost in that one. Bullshit. I was cheering for the Hawks to win even though it meant the stadium would blow up.

Replace the penguin head with Tommy Hawk, and JC Van Darn with RK's head, and you have every game that Tommy Hawk goes near RK.
