They are still missing Sharp's presence, not so sure about Bolland's. I thought that Handzus played pretty well on the third line today.

@NHLBlackhawks: Patrick Sharp is back in the lineup for tonight's game! We'll have video from him, hometown boy Nick Leddy and Coach Q soon. #Blackhawks

Should be interesting to see where he plays and what the lines will be.

the lines will probably get all juggled up all game.

I would guess that either Bollig or Carcillo gets the boot. Hopefully the top two look like (atleast to start)...

Saad/Toews/Kane
Sharp/Kruger/Hossa

Coming off a shoulder injury, I wouldn't expect Sharp to play center right away - especially with faceoffs being a big part of that 2c position.

Each line has a playmaker (Kane and Kruger) and then a couple of pure finishers.

thats probably the way it will look but I love having Toews and Kane seperated.

I would like Sharp Toews Hossa to put the great passers together. Let the individuals find it their way, Saad/Kruger/Kane.

Pushing Bickell down only means good things too.

Emery got the win.. Crawford gets the save!

Definitely Crawford now. Still hope Emery is able to backup playoffs so they don't need to trust Hutton if needed.

Given the situation, I think we're gonna find out a lot about Hutton in the last two games. It would be silly to throw Crawford out there for a couple of reasons...why chance an injury in two meaningless games and why take a chance on lowering his confidence level which should be pretty high after last night's game. If Im coaching and all Hawk fans can be thankful that Im not.....I would sit Toews, Kane, Sharp, Hossa, Saad, Crawford, Keith, Seabrook, Leddy, Stalberg and the Hammer. Let's see what Team Rockford & the Hawk reserves can do.

The only issue is that if you don't play guys in the last two games, those players are going to be without game action for about a week.

Personally, I'd like to see a pretty full lineup on Friday versus the Flames (on home ice) and then sit some guys who are banged up on Saturday at the Blues. The Blues like to take runs at the stars on the team, so I'd like to see Carcillo, Bollig, Mayers, and Brookbank all in on that meaningless game.

I keep hearing that both Carcillo and Sharp are going to need surgery this offseason. Don't know how big or small, just surgery.

I hear what you're saying but this team has just finished playing 46 games in a short time frame caused by the lockout. They have to all be sore and tired. IMOP...since the Hawks have been so good on the road, the only real advantage the President's Trophy can give them is one of rest. Let them rest and heal for a week....the REAL NHL season is just starting.

If things get out of hand one way or another against Calgary in the first...would much rather see Rockford lite out there. Not sure how many guys the Blackhawks can carry besides their "core pieces" to play, but I think protecting the stars is more important than keeping the continuity/flow etc.

This is the team that has gone on a double-digit win streak this year, besides getting at least a point in nearly every game. I'm not too worried about the chemistry or flow of these guys.
