If things get out of hand one way or another against Calgary in the first...would much rather see Rockford lite out there. Not sure how many guys the Blackhawks can carry besides their "core pieces" to play, but I think protecting the stars is more important than keeping the continuity/flow etc.

This is the team that has gone on a double-digit win streak this year, besides getting at least a point in nearly every game. I'm not too worried about the chemistry or flow of these guys.

To answer your one question, you can only dress 20 roster players for a game. Dressing two goalies takes it down to 18 skaters (12 forwards and 6dmen usually). Can't dress extra guys.

Once the Playoffs are in full swing then a team can bring up as many players as they want (still can't dress more than 20) and there isn't a salary cap. When that happens, I would fully suspect the Blackhawks bring up 5+ guys from Rockford that may play if needed, can help out in practice, and that can learn from being around the NHL team while in the playoffs.

I've been high on Stanton, hope he can get 2 games in and show what he's got.

I dont think Fisch is talking about dressing 30 guys....I know Im not. I'd like to see the list of players from my earlier post have a nice comfortable seat in Rocky's skybox and dress the appropriate amount of players from Rockford to take their place and actually play the game.

Pretty full lineup for the Blackhawks tonight. Only guy that is "healthy" and would usually play but isn't, is Hjalmarsson. Brookbank and Rozsival are both in. Bollig is in on the fourth line. I think this is the way to go, can't have these guys sit for a whole week and then jump into the intensity that is the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I would like to see a few guys sit tomorrow though.

Nice to see Hammer get a night off. With as many shots as he has blocked again this year, he has to have some bumps and bruises that need to be healed.

From what I'm seeing on the web...Toews, Kane, Hossa, and Sharp all staying in Chicago. Possibly others as well.
