Kane = Road Runner

Toews = Superman

Keith = Toothless (from How to Train Your Dragon)

Hossa = Mr. Incredible

Seabrook = Eddie Munster (only cus he looks like Eddie Munster)

Niemi = Shrek



on the bench

Campbell = Lion-O

Byfuglien = Sulley

Sharp = Batman

Hjalmarsson = Thor

Coach Q = Gepetto

Torchetti = Perry the Platypus



Burish as Bugs Bunny in the penalty box

Count Von Count is the statistician (or Bettman, lol).



Flyers are less important, but I did try to make associations

Pronger = Skeletor

Hartnell = Yosemite Sam

Briere = Wile E. Coyote

Laviolette = Stewie





Don't remember the others without looking it up, but the numbers are all accurate. The scoreboard represents the final score and time of the last game of the Finals. I know that game was in Philly, but for the sake of the mural it had to be at the UC if it was going up in my house. A little artistic liberty.

As far as copywrite law goes it's kind of a grey area. It also depends on the state. In most states, as long as he's not mass reproducing this piece and reselling it he should be fine as it's a new piece of art. You can reproduce likenesses without permission when making art.

Also, I would love to see the corporation or the professional sports team sue someone like you. It would be a massive PR nightmare.
