Johnny Oduya a plus-45 in 273 games with New Jersey, a minus-18 in 172 games with Atlanta/Winnipeg.

Should get back to better numbers with the hawks

like Adam Jahns said...

Hawks system is stocked and have too many players locked in..

losing picks doesnt hurt the hawks at all

I really think the biggest thing about this deal is that it is for 2013 draft picks.

Makes a huge difference compared to the 2012 draft...according to analysts atleast and everything I have read on how this draft is supposed to be stacked with depth.

Oduya to TSN: "Hopefully when you get brought in somewhere they see you can do some good for the team."

I'd like to know how that works. The Hawks are 26th in the league in goals against...if anything, he should fit right in.

He's been on a bad offensive team. He is a defensive minded guy that can impcat in the back end. He's shown it in New Jersey, not so much with Atlanta/Winnipeg. One big thing with Oduya is the D up there usually jumps into offensive plays, leaving him back on odd man rushes.
