Well he should, he's way better than Bolland at faceoffs and has more points than Toews today. You'll see it in HawkPoster's analysis later.

No, but I do like him on the third line if he keeps playing like that. He seemed to match up pretty well with Stalberg and Bickell. And, it was a fantastic thing to see someone other than Toews actually winning face offs. If Q doesn't put Sharp back out there at center, I would not mind seeing Kruger on the second line, Handzus on the third, and Bolland out there on the fourth line.

And that was a sweet ass pass that he made. Very Kaneresque.

Edmonton lost.

HAWKS CLINCH!

:yeah:

They technically clinched after the shutout loss. But everyone follows magic-number formulas, and not match-based formula(where the other 10 teams that play each other couldn't possibly win perfectly to bumps the Hawks out, ie: if Pheonix can still get 60 PTS, and lets say we were on 58 PTS still, that means a perfect 11 games from them, and all losses for us are no longer applicable, because the 9th and 8th seeds, that the Coyotes also play, would also have to win out.) Making it impossible. :D

Four more points to clear Detroit, and seven to clear the Blues. Subject to both teams winning out of course. They could have the division wrapped up by this time next week.

We have not clinched. Phoenix has played 37 games and has 38 points. They can get 60, we have 60. Tie-breaker technically not clinched yet. Though the first tie-breaker besides games played is ROW, (regulation and overtime wins, not counting shootouts), and we are ahead of Phoenix by 10 (they have 11 games left), and after that it is the season series (we won that). So Phoenix could theoretically still beast us on first (second) tie-breaker.

Phoenix loss or Phoenix shootout win and we clinch.

While that is a very true statement, the unfortunate fact of the matter is that they are still lurking out there. That is also true about Phoenix, but come on, it is Phoenix for God's sake. Since the Blues and Wings play tomorrow, I suppose that I unfortunately have to root for the Wings in regulation, just to get things over sooner.

Nope. They can only get 60 PTS. So tiebreak is in place, which we would then own, because they can't get 28 wins(what we have), they can only get 27.

First tie breaker is Regulation and Overtime wins, which if the Hawks would somehow lose the rest of the games, and Phoenix would win the rest of the games, they would be ahead of us. Hawks have 23 ROW, while Phoenix could get to 24.

I miscounted 1 ROW. SO yes. The Coyotes could win the tiebreak. NVM.

I wasn't using the flawed magic-number system anyways in my main point, because it doesn't count comprehensive schedules.

If Phoenix wins out, and Hawks lose out. That means the Blues and Redwings(7-8th seeds) both lose a game. And because Detroit and St Louis play each other once this means one of the two loses 2 games = Blackhawks are already clinched. Also, if the Coyotes win out, and the Hawks lose out, Detroit would have to lose one additional game, and we clinch the Division.

That is true, I always wished media would make better note of that.
