are you guys debating technicalities over playoff clinching? you guys are funny men! :)

Thank you for finally acknowledging my status as a legal adult. But, just to clarify, being of age does not mean I am open to anything. Not aimed towards you with this comment, but a certain :pedobear:/young-adult rapist known to roam these boards. :troll:

Today should be an interesting game. Thought the Blackhawks played down to the Preds in a big way. Emery was sharp but the entire defense was real sloppy with the puck. Some terrible passes in zone and a whole lot of turnovers. Brookbank certainly looked rusty after Roszival has been getting the majority of playing time as the #6.

I would imagine Crawford gets the start in net today. After Emery's performance in this game, if Crawford comes up lame, it could be Emery's net for a little while here.

First line played great. All three of those guys are very solid one on one players and work the puck down low very well. Thought Toews especially had a strong game with several strong moves to the net.

Loved the first goal...was a result of doing all the little things right. Handzus wins the faceoff, Kruger makes a nice play on the blueline/boards, Handzus makes a nice pass and then Bickell buries it. Handzus with another nice game, going 10 - 5 at the faceoff dot and even chipping in offensively. His lack of speed hasn't looked out of place yet.

Thought the fourth line looked pretty poor yesterday. Bollig didn't have a great game. Frolik wasn't his usual jumpy self. Shaw went through a slump like this last year and was sent down to the AHL. I don't expect him to be sent down to the AHL this time around, he just needs to play out of it and needs to get back to the game that got him to the NHL...being a pest.

What else are we supposed to debate? The Saad on the first line debate has been over for awhile now. Everyone for the most part agrees that Carcillo is worthless on this roster. Emery has been a great back-up this year, but is nothing more than that. Oh, and we all know that Bolland sucks as the second line center...not much else to debate.

How can you do a "recap" when you're blind to the player that was without question the best player on the ice?
He didnt score but that's only because his teammates couldnt finish.....might've been Saad's best overall game.
He was a threat everytime his skates hit the ice and all he gets from you is some vague reference to the 1st line.

Is Saad not part of that line? I thought both Saad and Hossa played strong games, but I thought Toews played one of his best games. As I mentioned, I thought he played well below the dots with several strong moves to the net. Wasn't Saad's best game overall, I don't care about scoring or not scoring, but he played a great game...as should have been picked up if you read what I said about the first line. I've been plenty vocal about how well Saad has been playing as of late, no need for the attempted attack. I gave my opinion on the game in a recap and anyone else is free to do it and claim that Saad had his best game of the year and was the best player on the ice yesterday...which I disagree with as he has had better ones and I thought Toews (who I singled out) had a spectacular game (Even though he didn't show up on the scoresheet!)

Did I say that he has good legs? Did I ever say that? He certainly doesn't, all I said is that he hasn't looked out of place and his skating hasn't been an issue so far. Never said what you claim.

What are your contributions to this forum?

Once again, attempting to call someone out or "make fun" of someone because of their hockey opinion is flat out stupid. Feel free to question the actual hockey part, but make sure I actually said it before you do. If everyone just debated hockey and stuck to hockey...this would be a better forum.

Clearly it isn't. A typical reply from you that adds no value or doesn't debate the question in a valid way. Congrats.

I have nothing wrong with people attacking my opinion, however when people attack my opinion, in a way that rarely has to do with hockey or the opinion itself, only because it is coming from me...pretty lame and petty.

Simply just don't want to get attacked because I post a hockey opinion. Pretty simple.

I help out at another forum in terms of being a mod (so lifetime goal achieved?), and I couldn't care less as long as people stick to hockey. Pretty simple over there.

You got perma-banned from there when they wouldn't give you more "power"...so, sure. Also, got perma-banned again when you made up new screen names to come back. Sweet.

Then you're on the wrong site, maybe this would better suit you.
