So I guess they beat Detroit 2-0.

Didn't catch the game, will catch a bit Thursday night vs. Pittsburgh.

Wasn't on TV :cookiemonster: /OldWirtz

Sharp and Smith with the goals, lots of prospects (plus Kane, Bickell, Seabrook, and Keith especially) got a lot of playing time.

One of the Wings has a disciplinary hearing Thu because of a boarding incident in the game.

Strader: Hey, Panger great to see our Kings are aff to a great start, huh?

Pang: Well Dave, they actually lost both of their preseason games to Phoenix.

Strader: You mean they lost two games to the Suns?

Pang: No, to the Coyotes...you moron.

Strader: I'll bet they were playing great hockey though.

Pang sucks ass. He's actually a Blues homer. I have Center Ice so I always choose other team's announcers if i watch the Blues.. Can't stand him.

I was at bowling last night, so I didn't watch the game as intently as I normally do but I did see a couple of goals allowed that were very "Huetish". I didn't like the Khabibulin signing at all and would've prefered they use Raanta as backup. Heh...and Ive never even seen Raanta play but that's how much I think Bullin's career is on life support. Anyone who watched the whole game....was he bad or did I just catch him at his worst?

^^^ I don't think Khabi looked that bad last night. Granted, it was one game but I'm not concerned with his level of play for being a back up. I'm more concerned with his durability because Q has shown that he likes to rest his starters plenty. It will be nice to see Raanta get a start in the pre-season, and I'm sure that will happen soon.

In terms or players trying to earn a spot on this team (that have a shot, more or less) thought that Leblanc, Smith and Saad (center position) looked pretty good.

Was nice to see TT on an NHL ice surface and he showed some nice flashes last night.

Was just nice to watch some hockey on TV again last night.

Quick note for Fisch...

Not sure if anyone was paying attention on Friday night during the lineup crawl at the top of the screen, but they CSN had Stalberg listed as starting alongside Toews on the first line...

Ahh, the memories....
