After several minutes of medical attention, Pominville, 27, lifted his arm to acknowledge the crowd as he was led off, though we may be looking at some missed time for Pominville. He's normally as durable as they come, but he appeared to be defenseless on the hit, and Hjalmarrson could be looking at some missed time as well, courtesy of the league office. Initial reports say Pominville suffered a concussion, but did not have to go to the hospital.

When Hammer was booted I thought Scott stepped his game up, it was very good to see, he was using his fram to move guys and block shots and passes

the things wrong with hammer have nothing to do with campbell IMO...
bad passes, mishandling the puck, etc are all on him

meh...Hammer should be able to handle pucks and pass no matter who is with him...why did we pick up his 4mil offersheet if he's only good because Campbell makes passes for him? thats dumb

THe issue isn't that he can't do those things. Those are actually strong parts of his game. The issue is that he is forcing things and trying to do to much because he is playing with inferior D partners. He just needs to calm it down and play smart. Duncan Kieth and Seabs have been having the same problems and they are playing with eachother most of the time.

Is it just me or is Crawford the complete opposite of Turco? He really minimizes his movements and everything is seems very controlled. At first it seems kind of stilted and weird (like he should be moving more), but I think it's just goalie fundamentals shining through.

It's like he gets in the right spot to make a save and he's staying put until the situation changes. Turco on the other hand is completely reactionary and will change his mind and positioning 10 times on a play to make a stop.

Crawford in net made for a very different feel. I like having two different goalies like that. I wonder if there's a way that the coaches can take advantage of that.

Crawford will be an excellent backup...but idk how they can plan for that.

Crawford just needs to go out and give his best every time he gets the call...thats all he can do

Turco plays more of a hybrid style, so expect him to be all over the place when making saves; Crawford is a butterfly style goalie. There's also a big size difference between the two. So, yes, you are correct in your assessment that they are very different.
