Excellent PK'er is what im hearing

a Pisani/potulny pk will be good

me and dero were talking about him last night, and the best part is that its a 2 way deal, so he will most likely fill in for people when injured

He did score 15 goals for a piss poor Oilers team last season.

Solid depth pick up.

Let the Bowman style of effective cheap fill in players begin.

Never thought he was, thought he would have to compete with they guy who is basically a career AHLer from Florida a bit still and could of lost that battle.

And dont forget that Potulny put these numbers up with a far less superior team than what Buff had here

If he can fill the third line center role then that's even more win.

Because Sharp/ Bolland/ Hossa is a jizz-tastic 2nd line.

Buff will likely be a d-man for the Thrashers.

The one thing that I have seen on another board, are comments from Oiler followers that this particular guy got loads of ice time with the Oilers- maybe even more than Byfuglien did with the Hawks. I'm not sure that the stats comparison is entirely valid, as this guys figures (if he makes the team) to get significantly less ice time on the Hawks.

That being said -I don't have any objection to the signing. I'm just not going to compare the guy to Buf.

Gotta keep Bolland on the 3rd line.
1) his defensive skills
2) If Kopecky can only put up points with Hossa, we have no choice but to play them together with Sharp centering

Kopecky can play 4th line sure without much points except at time but it isn't a loss.

Putting Sharpe-Bolly-Hossa together can be your top defensive matchup line. Q Did the same thing in 08-09 just with Havlat instead for awhile during the year.

Bolland needs to play the third line.

Sharp centering Hossa and Kopecky is my dream 2nd line
