14-1-2 the last 17 road games in ottawa, montreal and toronto combined.
Gracious hosts in E. Canada lately.
Hopefully 15-1-2 after the next one but the leaves are up a few notches from ottawa and montreal.

Solid victory last night, it’s always a pleasure to sit in the bell Center and watch our Hawks beat the Habs. 4 points out of the wildcard with 3 teams tied in points.
Tough game Sat but Hawks always bring there game versus Toronto, need to keep the streak going.

They got Panarin too, but to sign him it was incentive laden deal. What were there 2 mil bonus dollars that counted against the cap the first two seasons? When they were able to lock him in at 6 he was too expensive, even though there were no extra dollars in bonus and we could have used him at 6 instead of jettisoning him to get Saad back for the same money.

You just see these multiple hits on great players and it makes it more mind boggling why they cant keep any of them. I always said I see Hossa in Kubalik because of the wicked shot and when he fucks up and turns a puck over, he dogs back after it fiercely trying to get it back. I hope he is here when he puts on 20 pounds.

Wonder where Kubalik is gonna be next year.
Kubalik will be in Chicago next year

That was an entertaining contest; even when Chicago was obviously wearing down in the 3rd they kept things under control for the most part. Montreal helped by missing the target fairly often, over-skating pucks, taking bad penalties.

Excellent start from Crawford, glad he wasn't burned by a late goal (one pipe save) as often happens to mess up a shutout or 1-goal allowed performance (and that from a sluggish start to the 2nd.) Shame that Toews' skate dragged forward and that his stick wasn't flat to the ice on that nice feed. Four points on a back-to-back is sure a mood lifter.

Hawks emptied that arena. The booing the refs for not stopping play when their goalie threw his stick and blocker and them not stopping play. Miss seeing Gilbert, especially when Dach was dumped over the boards into the Montreal bench and all those cheap shots.
I know a few games ago, I thought it was when Strome got hurt someone mentioned injury. Is the kid hurt or just getting scratched for Kukoo?
Bad news, now Hawks won 7 out of 10 and it seems like the coach is safe again.

Strome's hurt -- day to day with an ankle. It sounds like he'll be back soon though, same with Saad. It which case, I'd imagine you'd see Highmore and Sikura scratched, but I'm just guessing.

Didn't even realize that. Calgary is notoriously a tough place to play, right?

I know Strome was hurt, I thought someone mentioned Gilbert getting dinged in that same game.

If Gilbert isn't hurt, Stan's a jackass for not playing in one of the back to backs. Are Gus and Koko so good that they can't afford to bench one of them for a game?

Last week a twit on twitter was saying they were going to have to do a buyout with Maata because nobody will trade for him either. I guess since nobody heard it, it must not have happened. If both Strome and Gilbert are hurt, then someone else gets injured they are going to have to dress 19 again.
