Yeah...
I think the talent has increased since they last tried this style of play(good job Stan). Meanwhile they have been working on fundamentals to run JC's system for a year to one degree or the other, and its my opinion those fundamentals will pay off, we are seeing them pay off in work ethic instincts. A little youth juice, a few new faces, and learning how to play together...
somehow it appears we can now run Q's system sufficiently again. I think we did get lazy with it and it was broken...this whole process has brought it back to life and I don't want to miss giving JC some credit for that even if his system was a failure at this level. Its not a failure to remind some pre-maddonna hall of famers how to work a little bit.
What I am saying is I think it expanded our team skill set and instincts from the end of the Q days, and we are now prepared to face teams that force you into that style of play like Ottawa.
