Thats my philosophy as well, but my parents dont share it...We have a snow blower..I dont see the purpose of doing it before its all done. Luckily my dad took a look outside tonight and basically said "I think we'll wait until tomorrow"

Normally, if I wasn't busy I'd shovel periodically throughout a heavy snowfall. I'd rather shovel 3-4 inches a few times than shovel 12-15 inches once.

But, with all the wind there's not much of a point to do that now. I shoveled at about 4 today and I can't even tell I did it. I'm in western IL though.

Not sure how much snow we actually got, but most of my driveway is at least a foot deep, with a nice 3-4 foot deep drift running along the front of my house. That's going to be fun to shovel...

There is a silver lining to this. I just went out for a drive and all rules are off!. You can run red lights etc. and nobody seems to care. There are no cops patrolling out here...lol!
